Stamp Review Crew - Little Twinkle

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring Little Twinkle.

At first glance this stamp set looks like it is just for celebrating the birth of babies but this is one of those stamp sets that can actually be used quite a few occasions.

How about using it for engagements and weddings with a simple sentiment - Congratulations!

I've masked off the last 2 lines of this stamp to get my congratulatory border.

I'm celebrating my love of Merry Merlot and copper with this gorgeous celebration of love.

And why not even use it for birthdays?

Mango Melody and Night of Navy are one of my favourite colour combinations.

I was really in the need of a quick and easy way to use this stamp set for this post - the craziness of the Christmas season seems to start earlier and earlier every year! So ... I heat embossed in white on watercolour paper and splooshed on some ink. And yes ..... splooshing is the technical term!

And if you are a regular follower you will know that my shimmerising phase has not come to an end yet so I also embossed some in clear and spritzed on my shimmer spritzes. You can read all about how I did it here and here.

This is copper shimmer paint spritzed onto Merry Merlot - I think my favourite combo!

I also used champagne shimmer paint spritzed onto Coastal Cabana. Super pretty in real life but super difficult to capture in a pic. Can you just take my word for it? 😜

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is the lovely Holly. Can't wait to see what gorgeousness has come out of her craft room!

Colour INKspiration Challenge #44 Blog Hop

We  have a fabulous colour combination for our latest Colour INKspiration challenge!
I wanted to make a Centre Panel Easel Fold card (using a tutorial from AddINKtive Designs by Bronwyn Eastley) and these colours were perfect for this fun, floral display.

I love any sort of easel card. They are just so nifty in the way they stand up for display and even though it is not a new fold, I still love using it. Fun adaptions like this one with the folding centre panel keep me interested!

Folding flat to pop in an envelope is an added bonus!

The First Frost bundle was perfect to use for decorating my centre panel. The challenge colours made it pretty easy too! A coat of Wink of Stella added in some glitz and glamour!

Pear Pizzazz stamped on Sahara Sand is so lovely isn't it? This long border stamp makes it quick and easy to decorate each side.

And what about those lovely stitched die cuts? I've used the Stitched Labels framelits set. My favourite framelit from the set is the criss cross border!

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post.
