Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions + SAB Display Stamper Blog Hop 3

Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions + Sale-A-Bration Display Stamper Blog Hop. We are Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who were chosen as display stampers at our recent OnStage events that took place all across the globe. Over the 7 days of the hop we will show you all the projects we made using the brand new products in the 2018 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalogues. Today is the 3rd day of the hop.

Whether you are starting with me - Lou Kitzelman from the Sunshine Coast, Australia - or have hopped over from the uber talented and member of the current Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team, Tanya Boser, strap yourself in - you are about to see so many new products you just have to have! Better get that wish list handy!

Today I have some cards made using the Beautiful Day stamp set. It features big, bold images with great sentiments.

Stampin' Blends are perfect for colouring in these images. I have teamed this gorgeous flower with some of the new Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. I love this DSP!

The butterfly is gorgeous too. I love the sentiment. I have cut the stamped sentiment into 2 lines and used the second part as a tab under the butterfly panel. Can you see the Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon? It comes in a pack of 3 colours and I have used the Bermuda Bay here.

And how about a bit of silver embossing for an elegant card? By stamping the flower all over, I created my own background. It is set off perfectly by this new Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

Make sure you hop around to each blog. Be prepared to be amazed! If you miss any of the 7 days of the hop you can see all of my posts here. Next up is the incredibly talented member of the current Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team, Mindy Backes.

Colour INKspiration Challenge #22 and #23 Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to another Colour INKspiration challenge. We have not one but two challenges for you this time. They will both run for 3 weeks and you can enter just one or both. I had intended to make a project for each but it has been one of those crazy months where I am overstretched (like most people) and have a terrible head cold. Turns out it is very hard to take photos and blow your nose/sneeze/ cough at the same time! Oh woe is me!

So onto the colours for #22.

Can't wait to see what you do with those colours. I love the inspiration pic too. The project that I did get made was for these gorgeous colours - #23.

So this is what I came up with. A cute box to hold a quick and easy, yet sweet, Christmas brooch.

I used Bronwyn Eastley's Christmas Chocolate Holder tutorial to make these. This holder is such a great way to package a small gift, decoration or chocolate. Perfect for those little gifts where you want to show your appreciation without buying an extravagant gift.

Instead of popping a chocolate inside, I added this cute brooch that I made.

So easy! I die cut a stitched circle from felt and glued on some silver metallic thread and added one of the Stitched Felt Embellishments. Oh and a wooden star too!

Glue on a brooch back and you are good to go! I added an extra bit of cardstock inside the box to secure the brooch to but ... sorry ..... sneezing won out over a pic of that!

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 19 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. Not a member of the Facebook group yet? Just click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. We can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous colours.

Next up we have Nicole Wilson. Make sure you check out her take on this colour combination. You will love it!
