Colour INKspiration Challenge #169

Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Cathy Pinchbeck.

I thought these colours would be fab for a non-floral card that could be used for either a male or female. The Tuned In Bundle was the perfect thing to use on this Pop-Up Flip card. Isn't that just so cute!

This is a really fun card fold that starts out flat and does just what the name implies as you open it .....

..... the die cut panel pops up and flips!

I made first made this type of card last month. You can see that card here. I found that the piece that allows the card to flip was a bit flimsy so have modified the design. I like to do a mock up from scrap cardstock and record the measurements for easy reference. You can see this below. It is not pretty but it gets the job done. You can alter the width of the box if needed. I like to keep it narrower than the die cut panel and use Thick Basic White for the box and flip section.

The Tuned In bundle is fast becoming my new favourite. I have so many ideas flying around in my head! I've added some simple pop up boxes to the back of my flower pots. Such and easy way to add a wow to your card!
