Just Add Ink #693 - Just Choose Two - Simply Zinnia

At Just Add Ink this week we are asking you to Just Choose Two - Circles, Squares, Sentiments.

I went with circles (in the form of these gorgeous zinnias) and a sentiment.

The Simply Zinnia Suite Collection is one of the new Online Exclusives offerings. It has beautiful images as well as stand alone dies that you can use to create your own unique flowers as I have done here.

I used different inks in pinks and yellows (see list below) with water and my Water Painter to create a colour wash on watercolour paper and then die cut for the zinnia petals. I did lighter washes for the flower centres and leaves.

Did you notice that gorgeously embossed background? That embossing folder is part of the Suite Collection. Love it!

Make sure to check these and all of the other Online Exclusives. Scroll down to find a direct link.

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see which 2 elements all the other Design Team members chose. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!

  1. I see a couple layers of ribbon. Can you please tell me what you used? Thank you very much

    1. Hi, I've used the Pecan Pie Centre Stripe ribbon from Stampin' Up! On this card. Behind it is the (now retired) More Dazzle cardstock. Hope that helps.

    2. It does! Thank you
