Welcome to a very special blog hop. We're a group of stamping friends that are celebrating my very fabulous friend Bron's 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes! This month's we are CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card from pages in the 60s of the 2022-23 Annual Catalogue.
I chose to base my design on a card box on page 69. I loved the simplicity of the design using simple shapes and beautiful paper.
I have used the new Sunkissed stamp set. This is perfect for lots of summery occasions including birthdays and Christmas. I love a set that has multiple uses!
I lightly coloured my image in using watercolour pencils. And that about all there is to it. It is pretty simple but I like the natural feel to it.
Make sure you continue the hop to check out lots of fab ideas. I love seeing how my crafty friends take inspiration from our fabulous catalogue. Next up my lovely friend Tina Gillespie. I know she will wow you!

Lou, I love your colour scheme. The blue and white loo so fresh against the Kraft paper and the rope is very nautical.
ReplyDeleteDefinite natural feel. I LOVE what you have created here my friend. The pelican is such an enigmatic bird, nice to see him on your card
ReplyDeleteYour card is so beautiful, Lou. The twine looks fantastic, and I love the simplicity in the shapes and soft colouring. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the texture and natural look of the rope/twine horizontal and bow. I like the way you've kept to simple beachy colours with the browns and blue. Lovely case, Lou. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove this Lou! Your choice of colours and the textural plaited detail of the twine is just perfect! Nikki xx
ReplyDeleteThe layout, the colours, the knotted twine, the stamp set ... ❤️ ... totally gorgeous. Thanks for joining in with the celebrations this month. Mmmm ... now I need that Sunkissed Stamp Set!
