Colour INKspiration Challenge #103 - Penned Flowers

It's time for another Colour INKspiration challenge. The fabulous crew member, Cheryll Miller chose the inspiration pic for this challenge. Isn't it cool! Sure does make you want to relax in the chair with something lovely to sip on!

I am on a bit of a 'pleating designer series paper'  phase at the  moment. It only started on the weekend with this card so I may be in it for a while! I loved the design of that card so decided to copy it using our challenge colours. 

I have used the Penned Flowers dies for the floral elements. I just did a bit of flower arranging until I was happy! The sentiment is from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set and is die cut with a label from the Beautiful Trees dies.

There is some ribbon and thread thrown onto the card too! I have used Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon and silver thread from the Simply Elegant Trim pack. 

I have used papers from the Sweet Symmetry and Hand-penned Designer Series Paper packs. Both packs are part of the current 15% off in July promotion. 

I normally would use papers together that have more contrast but for a sympathy card I liked the more understated pairing.
