So ... have been enjoying see all of the projects I created for the presentation that I did recently for the Stampin' Up! OnTour event? Do you have a favourite? You can find all of the projects that I created here. Yesterday I showed you some really fun watercolour techniques. You can read that post here.
Often we use water and ink on watercolour paper to create watercoloured backgrounds. That can actually be a bit intimidating for some people. Watercolour is a bit unpredictable but I found a way to tame it a little bit. If you use the tree top stamps to stamp onto wet watercolour paper you can get some really great, arty results without the angst. They make for really striking cards. Here I have used a panel behind a metallic embossed tree.
You can use the same technique on Basic White cardstock without the water. Here I have used the same colours as above. You get a different look but it does make interesting tree tops.
So there you have it. That is all of the projects I created for my presentation. I'd love to know your favourite so add a comment so I can see which one you loved the most. And of course if you live on the Sunshine Coast and would like to learn some of these techniques and card folds please don't hesitate to contact me for class details.
Until next time,
Lou
