Stamp Review Crew - Art Gallery

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. You can find the complete list of all the crew hopping today here. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Art Gallery stamp set. It coordinates with the fabulous Floral Gallery dies.

I made a card last year for a friend who needed an engagement card. You can check it out here. I loved it so much that I decided to make a similar version.

If you are a regular follower you will know that I love playing around with stamps and use them in different ways. But ..... sometimes .... I just want to use a set as is and the Art Gallery set is just perfect to do this. I have used Night of Navy for my flowers. So simple! For the more filled in images I stamped off once to get a lighter shade and the more detailed stamped were stamped over the top.

This bundle has some really great sentiments in it and I love this die that cuts them out. And how lush is that Fine Art Ribbon! I love the natural colour mixed with gold. Perfect mix of nude and bling!

Using my same design, I decided to have a go with Rococo Rose. The Love You Always Foil Sheets pack has matching foil so it seems a shame not to!

The Floral Gallery dies has this large sentiment so I decided to use it in a subtle way. Once my card front was stamped, I die cut the sentiment plus 2 extras in Basic White. The 2 layers of Basic White add a bit of height to the sentiment. It's a bit hard to capture in a picture. It can been seen a bit better in real life.

Some coordinating ribbon and a die cut flower helped set my card off. Simple!

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is the fabulous Stesha Bloodhart. I can't wait to see her amazing creations.

  2. Gorgeous monochromatic cards, Lou! I like the "just want to say" as part of the background on the Rococo Rose card
