Stamp Review Crew - Painted Poppies

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Painted Poppies stamp set. I am so pleased that it will continue in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue from Stampin' Up! which will be released on June 3.
This is a great stamp set with blooms that you can colour using the splotch stamp or pens such as Stampin' Blends. I've made another card using vellum as the card base. You can see some similar designs using vellum here and here.

For this card I have used some of the gorgeous vellum that you could have earned for free in the recent Sale-a-bration promotion. The embossing and colour gives a nice look to your card and is something a bit different.

My flowers are coloured using Stampin' Blends and then die cut with the coordinating Painted Labels dies. The sentiment is from the retiring Tea Together stamp set.

The Stitched So Sweetly dies layered make an elegant base for the flowers and hide the inside message panel.

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is the fabulously talented Lauren Alarid. Can't wait to see her creation.
