Social Stamping - Hello

Hi and welcome to the Social Stamping Blog Host. My wonderful friend Kelly Kent is hosting us. She has gathered a group of stamping friends who want to connect with each other and our online friends to share a bit of creative love at this uncertain and worrying time. You can hop from one blog post to the next to see what we have all created under the theme of Hello. If you get lost or the chain is broken you can always pop back to Kelly's main post here to continue.

Recently I saw some really lovely cards using vellum as the card base made by the fabulous Caroline van der Straaten. You can check them out here. These are actually the 1st cards that I made when I saw the idea. I loved the idea so much that I made 2 more using the latest Colour INKspiration challenge colours. You can see that post here.

Using vellum is a fun way to switch up your card making. For these I have used some of the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (free with qualifying orders until the end of March). The pack has 3 colours, as you can see below, and a great textures pattern on it.

On each card I have used another free product - the Tags in Bloom stamp set. It coordinates with the Label me Lovely punch (which I love!). These cards are going to be the perfect way to send a paper hello to some friends!

For this Purple Posy card I have kept it simple without fussy cutting. These cards were to be for a class that I had to cancel and I wanted to give the non fussy cutter fanciers (say that fast 3 times!) an option.

The images on each card have been coloured with Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment on my Soft Seafoam card is from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

I hate to play favourites but my Pool Party version is the best one! I have fussy cut some extra flowers to add a bit of oomph. The twine is retired but added a bit of glitz.

Inside each card is a smaller Whisper White folded card where you can write a message. Forgot take a pic for you ..... ooops!

Take some time out for yourself and do something creative. We hope you find lots of inspiration as you hop around. Next up in the list is the fabulous Leonie Stuart.
