Creating Kindness Design Team January 2020 blog hop - Outer Space

Happy New Year everyone. I hope that 2020 is a fabulous year for you all. Welcome to our first Creating Kindness Design Team blog hop of the year where are theme is Outer Space. We welcome Sharni Haines as our Guest Designer this month. Check out her wonderful creations here.

Now I have to admit that I was a bit stumped as to what to do as I don't have any stamps that immediately shout outer space. But then I remembered a really great sentiment in the Genuine Gems stamp set - I told the Universe to send some awesome your way.

Maybe not as outer spacey as some but it is a great sentiment and I was able to use the card fold that I showed you in this post

By pairing it with the  Stitched Stars dies I was able to add to the spacey theme. I really love this card fold and the peek through window on the front.

I stamped half of the sentiment on the card front .....

..... and added the 2nd part on the first inside flap. Did you notice that great embossing? It is one of the free products that you can get in the Sale-a-bration promotion starting tomorrow (January 3rd). It is called Stone 3D embossing folder and comes in a bundle with the Power of Hope stamp set. Ask me for a brochure if I haven't given you one yet.

Open the card up one more time and you have space to add a message.

Short and sweet post today. This little duck is a touch tired from seeing the new year in!

Make sure you continue both the blog hop. Next up is the fabulous Jay Soriano. Can't wait to see his take on outer space!
