Creating Kindness Design Team November blog hop - Fancy Folds

Hi and welcome to the November Creating Kindness Design Team blog hop. This month we are all about fancy folds and we welcome Sue Plote as our guest designer. She is amazing so make sure you check out her blog.

For my fancy fold I was inspired by a great card that Michelle Last made. I loved the elegant simplicity of it. The cut out star front is just lovely.

I have used the So Many Stars bundle. There is so much to that bundle so stay tuned as I use it more over the coming weeks.  Because you are cutting areas out you get enough left overs to make this great star tag as well.

I've adapted Michelle's design and turned it into a tri-fold card. When you open the front you see this .....

..... and then open it again to reveal the message panel. To make the card you simply cut a piece of A4 at 14.5 cm then score at 10 and 20 cm. The last panel will be slightly narrower so make sure that is the one you fold into the inside so it all sits flat.

I taught this card fold in a class this week so here is one using the Perfectly Plaid bundle. So easy to make this card fold. As  you know at busy times I am all about minimum effect, maximum effect!

Oh and here is one more using a different piece of Designer Series Paper. Same, same but different!

Make sure you continue the blog hop. Next up is my wonderful and very clever friend Jenny Hall. Can't wait to see her fancy fold!

Lou
