Colour INKspiration Challenge #66 Blog Hop

Hey guys. Spring is well and truly happening here in Australia so why not really get Spring-y with some gorgeous colours for our Colour INKspiration challenge? You can use 3 or more of the colours.

As we are in the middle of Summer over Christmas I thought that these colours would be great for a fun, fresh Southern Hemisphere Christmas card. I've used all of the colours except Coastal Cabana.

The background was created using a fun technique using stencils and heat embossing. You can see a quick video on how I made it in this post. This background was actually left over from a class I held on Monday using this technique. It just happened to be in Pineapple Punch .... the perfect base!

The baubles and holly are from a really fabulous bundle called Christmas Gleaming. As it gets closer to Christmas (and time quickly gets away from me) I know I will be using this stamp set and the 2 coordinating punches a lot. You can quickly make 3D baubles by stamping and punching 3 baubles, folding in half and gluing the halves to each other. Once dry, I used a hole punch so I could attach the twine. Love quick and easy projects that look more complicated! Minimum effort, maximum effect all the way!

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black as well as Metallics. Not a member of the Facebook group yet? Just click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. We can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous colours.

Next up we have my lovely and creative friend Nicole Wilson. Make sure you check out her take on this colour combination. You will love it!
