I promise I won't say this at the start of every month ... but.... how did February get here aleady! This week at Just Add Ink we are hoping to tempt you with a fun sketch.
I know I am a bit creatively quirky but for some reason I looked at this sketch and saw a 3D design and decided I just had to make an Adapted Easel Card. You can find out how to make one here.
This is such a fun and easy card fold that allows for your creative efforts to be boldly put on display.
I've used the fabulous new Butterfly Gala stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Duet punch. That bundle coordinates with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper - you can get it free with order over $90 AUD until the end of March or while stocks last. The punch and paper are selling fast so don't wait around! The DSP is a fab mix of black and white designs and colour - so versatile!
I added in some vellum swirls from the Well Written framelits set to be the swirly part of the sketch.
Such a neat fold!
And did you notice that lovely Highland Heather Organdy ribbon? It is part of a pack of 5 that you can also get for free as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion. Another one selling fast so get it now if it is on your wish list.
And of course the card easily folds flat to fit into the envelope.
Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members used this sketch in their creations. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!

DeleteA very cool idea to go vertical with the sketch, Lou & perfect for those butterflies. It's indeed an awesome fold too - clever girl.
