Just Add Ink #427 - Just Add a 'K'

Hi Everyone. Happy Friday! Hope you have a fabulous weekend in store. Maybe some crafting? This week at Just Add Ink we are all about K!

Now I have to tell you I was stumped for quite a while. It didn't help that I had a dream about this challenge a few weeks ago and woke up quickly to write down my fantastic idea. When I became a bit more lucid I realised that adding Ketchup (as a painting technique) just wouldn't work! Somehow I overcame the urge to use that technique and came up with the Kind Kinetic Kris Kringle Kangaroo.

He is on a wobble spring ... check out him getting all kinetic-y here!

He is kind because he is wishing you everything on your list! The Signs of Santa stamp set were perfect to add the Christmas details to this cute fellow. I simply cut Santa's hat and list off and adorned the Kanga with them.

The trees are from Rooted in Nature. I stamped each tree several times before reinking to give the forest depth.

Oh and did you notice his shiny belly and hat trim? I painted some Frost White shimmer paint on.

Well that card was a bit of fun and sure beats my dreamy ketchup idea! The things that go on in my brain!

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members added K to their designs. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
