Colour INKspiration Challenge #37 Blog Hop

Hi Everyone. Welcome back to another Colour INKspiration challenge, where, as usual, we are kicking it off with a blog hop for inspiration. I have just come back from a 6 week overseas holiday. Had a fabulous time but I did miss creating. Because I have been gadding about in Europe, I haven't had much of a chance to play with all of the fabulous products and colours in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue yet so this challenge is the perfect excuse to play with them all!

Stampin' Up! ® has just had a major colour revamp so at Colour INKspiration we've decided to feature a Colour Collection for the first challenge each month (2nd Wednesday) until we have showcased them all! The second challenge in the month (4th Wednesday) will be a Pinterest inspired pic as per usual just to mix it up a bit. This month we are featuring the BRIGHTS COLLECTION and you can choose any 3 colours from that range for your challenge project. We are also changing the rules about what else you can add to the mix; essentially just the Basics - Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black as well as metallics.

What to choose? What to choose? So many fabulous colours! I decided to go with any of my new Stampin' Blends that were in the Brights colour family. Simple as that! I chose Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay and teamed it with the oh so elegant Serene Garden stamp set. Boom - job done!

This is such a gorgeous stamp set that has and Art Deco feel to it. I can see me using it a lot. It works perfectly with the Stampin' Blends and coordinates with the Garden Scene thinlits. One of the thinlits embosses the same design as the stamped image. So elegant.

I love having cards in my stash without sentiments and this one really lends itself to so many occasions. The inside is very simply decorated with a single bloom.

Some Basic Black shiny cord and raising my coloured panel on foam adhesive strips was all the card needed. I love the single bloom with the 3 leaves hanging off the bottom left corner for a bit of interest.

Stampin' Up! is giving you the chance to get a whole 10 ink pad assortment for free in addition to the starter kit during the month of July. You could get the whole Brights collection for FREE! Read all about how to take advantage of this great offer here
