Just Add Ink #798 - Just Add Inspiration - Scalloped Christmas Cheer Trees

At Just Add Ink this week we have an inspiration pic to kickstart your creativity. For this challenge you can take inspiration from the image, the colours or both. If you are using the colours you will need to use a minimum of 3.

I had in my head an idea using trees in the different colours from the swatch using dies from the Holly Jolly Branches set. One small(ish) problem ... I hadn't actually ordered them! Oopsie! The idea would just not leave my head so I did what any savvy crafter would do ... raid my (vast) stash of Christmas tree dies until I rediscovered the Christmas Tree dies which coordinates with the Whimsical Trees stamp set. So picture this design, but with the trees from the Holly Jolly Branches set. Same same but different!

Obviously I am still obsessed with using the Christmas Cheers Scalloped dies as frames! They really are a simple way to oomph up your card design. Simply fold on the dotted lines and score across each corner to fold a mitre.

Sentiments from the Stitched Stocking stamp set completed my design. This is quite a simple design which makes it perfect to make a few at once to help grow your Christmas card stash!

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members took inspiration from the pic. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
