Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. We welcome Sandra Hebel as our Guest Designer. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Me! Well .... I actually took this photo in May this year while on holidays in Japan. It was taken at Yuushien Garden, Daikonshima, Japan during the floating peony display during Golden Week. Truly something else! The peonies are grown in nurseries on site and during Golden Week each May they are cut and millions of them are floated on the large pond in the garden. I'll add a few more pictures for you at the end of my post. It was the most spectacular sight and something very hard to capture on camera.

Of course I was all about the floral theme so the Product of the Month set for July - Begonia Belle - was perfect. Info on how to get this set for $9 AUD is at the end of this post. It is a fab set and one not to miss!

By lightly spritzing my stamped blooms with water I was able to get a look that looks a bit photo-like. The ink colours merge a bit and give a softer look.

It would be remiss of me to also not include at least a few of the billion pics that I took while at Yuushien! At every turn as we walked around the gardens we could catch a glimpse of the floating peonies.
