Just Add Ink #786 - Just Add Polka Dots

At Just Add Ink this week we have a fun challenge to kickstart your creativity.

I'm just back from a fabulous holiday so am still trying to get back into the swing of life at home! I've kept my card fairly simple so that the polka dots and other designs from the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper pack can shine. Don't you love it when the paper does all of the hard work for you!

I've used Stampin' Blends in the new 2026-2028 In Colors (except for poor old Golden Glow which I forgot to order!) to colour some blooms from one of the papers in the pack and then fussy cut. It is great to have a mix of patterns and images. Gives you so much versatility.

To make my simple card a touch fancier I have added a square opening card onto a mat the same size as a regular card base (1/4 of an A4 sheet). It's a neat way to save your paper. This card will be featuring in my classes in a few weeks so I wanted to make sure I was making smart cuts!

The 2 sentiments are from a new stamp set called Scalloped Blooms. And did you spy the little flowers inside my card? They are from the edge of the paper and are perfect to add to the corners of your cards.

I'll have more projects coming in the next few weeks as I settle back into normal life so stay tuned. If you live on the Sunshine Coast you could come to a class to make this and 2 other fab cards.
