It's time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink. This week we are asking you to choose 2 or more from Twine - Ribbon - Sequins - Buttons - Brads - Rhinestones.
This was the perfect challenge for me to take inspiration from when I was creating a gift for one of my Stampin' Up! friends. We have been travelling to Stampin' Up! events together for years and each year I say that I really should get us something to add to our event bags so we can easily find them in a sea of sameness!
Well ... what better way to set us apart than a fun monogram key chain decorated with a tassel made from lots of Stampin' Up! ribbon, twine and sequins strands!
I had so much fun raiding my (vast) stash of ribbons and trims to find shades of Old Olive for my friend and Coastal Cabana for me. They were pretty tricky to photograph but in real life they are so pretty.
We attended the annual Stampin' Up! Onstage event in Sydney a few weeks ago. It is a Demonstrator only event where we get to catch up, see and play with new products, watch inspiring demonstrations and generally have a great, crafty time. This year we received a cute quilted bag in one of the colours coming soon - Hydrangea Hue. What a great backdrop for my key chains.
And in answer the question I know you are burning to ask .... no ... you can never have enough ribbons and trims! You just never know when you will need them for a project!
Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see which elements all the other Design Team members chose to add to their projects. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
