Colour INKspiration Challenge #200 - Friendly Foliage Christmas

Welcome to a very special challenge We are celebrating our 200^th challenge at Colour INKspiration! I told you it was special. We still have many original Crew who started with our first challenge on January 11th, 2017. If you'd like to check out that first challenge you can see it here.

This amazing group was organised by the super creative Bronwyn Eastley. Past and present Crew members are amongst some of the nicest and most talented people I have ever met. And we even have some of our past Crew joining in with us to celebrate so watch out for their projects in the Album and in posts. We hope that you enjoy following and joining in with us as much as we love designing for you. Here's to another 200 challenges!

This challenge is a little different. We are asking you to showcase your favourite Stampin' Up! colour. It can be current or retired. It will be tricky to choose just one but we know you can do it!

As well you chosen colour for #CI200, you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Beige, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’, ‘Bronze’ and ‘Natural Tones’ in the Stampin’ Blends.

Well, if you know me, or are a regular follower, you will know that I love green, particularly if it has an aqua tint. So my chosen colour to celebrate had to be Summer Splash! I have used some new Online Exclusives - the Friendly Foliage bundle and the Beautiful Pattern 3D embossing folder.

I love how easy it is to add texture with Two-tone cardstock, an embossing folder and a light sand!

If you haven't seen the Friendly Foliage bundle yet you really should check it out. I love that you can die cut the inside of the image. The sentiment is from the gorgeous Christmas card kit called Calm & Bright.

So there you have it ... my gorgeous Summer Splash on display. I love that it it a colour that works for this bright, modern Christmas card but with a simple change of sentiment this design would easily work for any occasion.
