Happy Tuesday! Last week I shared a card and envelope box made using the Jolly Delivery bundle. You can see that card here. The envelope die makes really cute little boxes but they are a bit small to fit a gift card in them. By not folding on all of the score lines you get this nifty gift card holder.
The Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous and looks pretty on both the front and back.
A bit of fussy cutting, a label and bling from the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection was all it needed to dress up the front.
Whenever I alter something or have a tricky design I like to make a template. It makes it so much easy to follow when creating your projects. I use scrap cardstock and mark the important instructions on it. For the gift card you only fold the inner lines on the top and bottom and the outer on the sides. My templates are a bit scruffy but they do the job!
The little die that creates the mechanism to hold the card shut needs to be placed lower so that it meets with the slit. Place it so the it is just a bit over the score line. See why a template is handy!
I love it when I can get more uses out of my products then first intended!
