Just Add Ink #770 - Just Add A Colour Combination - Brighten Your Day Kit amped up

At Just Add Ink this week we have a colour combination to kickstart your creativity. I'm not going to lie .... this combo had me breaking out in hives and swearing a fair bit! 

Once I calmed down and had a look around my craft room and saw that the one of the cards from the gorgeous Brighten You Day card kit contained 2 of our challenge colours - Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia. This kit is perfect for anyone to use, regardless of your skill level. Perfect gift for Christmas .... just saying!

This is the card featuring Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia. The card base is gorgeous and has a lovely texture to it .... oh and the envelopes ... devine! 

The card base is printed on the front and back so it seemed a shame to waste that gorgeousness. Got to love a 2 for 1 design! I simply cut the card base in half and mounted each one onto a Basic Black card base. I had to trim the printed panel slightly so that it still fitted into the envelope. 

To add to the design I have die cut elements in our 3 challenge colours using the Beautiful Motifs, Galley Blooms and Impressions Abloom die sets.

I love the dies in these sets. They work so well for arrangements such as this.

I had a tiny strip left over after trimming the printed panel so put them to work on the inside of my card.
