Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Monica Formosa. We welcome Petra Noeth as our Guest Designer.
I was originally going to make a sympathy card using our colour palette but couldn't go past the beautiful birthday sentiments in the Branching Out Bundle. I've used them along with the nesting dies in the bundle to create a Partial Die Cut Easel Card.
This is a really great way to add a WOW element to a card. You simply partially die cut the frame from the card front by not covering the part you want left uncut with the top plate.
I cut a second frame from Basic Black cardstock to adhere over the partially die cut one and then scored either side of the frame to form the easel.
The flower bouquet is from the Christmas Greenery Bundle. I have stamped off once to get a lighter version of Crushed Curry on the flowers. The bow and leaves have some Wink of Stella on them. I had forgotten that little beauty. Once upon a time I would have Wink of Stellered anything standing still! And don't you just love those sentiments from the Branching Out Bundle?
