Just Add Ink #766 - Just Add A One Layer Card with Stamping/Stencilling

At Just Add Ink this week we are asking you to Just Add A One Layer Card with Stamping and/or Stencilling.

I couldn't resist using some fab new products from the September - December 2025 Mini Catalogue, due for release on September 3rd (that's next week!). The Branching Out bundle is another of my new favourites.

The dies in the Branching Out bundle work so well with this dry embossing technique. Great way to add depth and texture to one layer cards. All you need to do is adjust your sandwich in your embossing machine so there is slightly less pressure. This it the order I used -

Plate 1
Plate 3
Silicone Craft Sheet
Shim of thin cardstock - check what works best for your machine
Cardstock and dies
Plate 3

You get this lovely impression as well as a slightly puffy look. I created a stencil to mask off the outside frames so that I could lightly apply some Summer Splash ink with a blending brush.

The Branching Out stamp set has great images and sentiments to decorate the inside and outside of your cards. I think that if I added a Christmas sentiment this design would be a great one for the festive season. What do you think?
