Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Vicki Boucher.
I'm just going to get something out of the way straight up ... I am not a purple person! So the challenge is real people! I am still in my Two-Tone cardstock era so a piece in Balmy Blue, embossed using the Sunrise Sailing embossing folder and sanded was a great starting point. I love how the white core shows through with a light sand. Just perfect to emphasise the clouds.
This card fold is a simple Z-fold. It is a great way to use a 6" x 6" piece of paper or cardstock. I made some other designs using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper a few months ago. You can see them

here. I love that the piece you would usually chop off so that you can fit the paper on a standard card base can be used inside. When the design is standing up you can see the whole design.
I've used the Cloud Cover ink on a small Stampin' Spot to ink the raised waves to give definition. The star fish and shell are from the Notes and Totes die set.
