Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Nikki Spencer. Aren't these fun, elegant colours!
I admit to being a serial Basic Beige and Crumb Cake user, but not so much Cajun Craze. Every time I dig it out I wonder why it doesn't get to feature in my designs very often. Poor little Cajun Craze sitting on the shelf, waiting for me to notice it! I love the bright pop of colour just by adding the strip of Cajun Craze cardstock and watercolouring using the CC watercolour pencil.
The Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper has some designs that are perfect for watercolouring. The Basic Beige background gives a soft, subtle look.
I've added in some texture by using one of the folders from the Glass and Gardens pack and Basic Black Two-tone cardstock. I didn't even need to sand it as the lighter shade came through. Such a quick and easy way to add interest to your projects!
I think any sort of sentiment would work with this card. This one is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set.
