We have a great Inspiration Pic this week at Just Add Ink to kick start your creatitivty.
Isn't this a lovely image! Makes me feel relaxed just looking at it. I wanted to carry that relaxed vibe into my card design as well as the colours and textures of the cane and foliage.
The Textured Notes dies have gorgeous edges and the ones I have used gave off a cane vibe. These are part of the new Online Exclusives as is the Elements of Text stamp set that I have used on the background.
And why not through in a gorgeous sentiment as well. I can't get enough of the Delightful Wishes bundle. It adds a really relaxed sentiment that has huge impact.
Several years ago I was in my 'hang a panel off the side of my card base' era. Looks like it's back!
Make sure to check that your card will still fit into the envelope though! I like to lay my card base over the envelope as I adhere the layers together so I can easily check.
