At Just Add Ink this week we have a fun, fresh colour combination for you.
I have to admit that I really struggled with this combo and early attempts looked like some weird acid trip from the 70's ... or how I imagine it would look in card form! But ..... Crumb Cake to the rescue. Everyone/project needs a bit of Crumb Cake to calm it down!
I think I struggled because I am not really a purple person. But that is the whole idea about challenges isn't it ... to challenge yourself. Once I played around with the balance of colours it all come together. The Regals Distressed Patterns DSP has this lovely white and copper plaid design which is perfect to colour to tie in with your projects.
It may not be in my usual colours but I think the card turned out pretty well. Not sure if this will be one I make tonnes of though!
Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members used the colour combination. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
