Colour INKspiration Challenge #162 - Layers of Beauty

Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Rose Parker. Isn't it a gorgeous pic!

What do you do to cheer yourself up when you've been sick for a week and a half with a stupid virus? You crack open some new products and have a play of course! One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that you have the opportunity to get your hands on new products before new catalogues go live. The 2024-25 Annual Catalogue (live May 1) is full of gorgeous new goodies. Check out the Layers of Beauty stamp, die and decorative masks bundle.

The masks (stencils) allow you to build up the colour and shade this gorgeous floral arrangement without needing any arty skills! Yay for that!

I've used the challenge colours along with another new stamp and die bundle - Unbounded Love.

One of my fellow Colour INKspiration Crew members, Bernie Roodt, did an amazing presentation at a recent Stampin' Up! event. Not only were her samples totally gorgeous, she also had lots of tips and tricks to teach us. Bernie hasn't had a chance to share your gorgeous projects yet but keep an eye on here Instagram feed here so you don't miss them. One of the tips she shared was to offset a darker cardstock die cut behind the floral die cut to create a subtle shadow. So simple, yet so effective! Thanks Bernie!

The Layers of Beauty dies have a die which allows you to cut out just the large rose. Perfect for layering!

I am sure you can see that the new 2024-25 Catalogue is another fab one. If you live in Australia and don't have a Demonstrator, let me know and I can send you a copy of the catalogue.
