Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Nicole Wilson.
As soon as I saw these colours I thought of the variegated plant stamp in the Prized Plant stamp set. Not sure what the plant is called .... let's settled on Variegated Leaf Plant! Anyway I was really happy with how it turned out.
There is a third stamp that you can use to fill in the leaf but I felt that the Granny Apple Green was too strong so left it white. When I make more cards using this stamp set I will use a really light colour for this.
On the plant inside my card I have added Granny Apple Green ink using a Blending Brush. It gives a lovely soft look.
You might have spotted that my main die cut panel looks a bit longer than the dies! It is! I used the partial die cutting technique to make it longer. Such a great technique to get more from your dies.
