Just Add Ink #640 - Just Add a Surprise - Greatest Journey

Hi! At Just Add Ink this week we are challenging you to Just Add a Surprise.

If you are a regular follower you will know that I love a card that looks just like a regular card when you first see it .....

..... until you open it to reveal a fun 3D card. I've called this card design a Double Layer Easel Card. The Greatest Journey bundle and the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper were perfect to create a scene with this card fold.

I stamped the trees directly onto the DSP. Doesn't it look like it was printed on.

To add the double layer, I made a long rectangular box. It keeps the 2 layers separated to add depth and is hidden by my rocky mound. I have more cards coming using this bundle so make sure you check back in.

I love this fun design, and the fact that it folds flat to fit into a standard envelope is a bonus!

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members added a surprise. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
