Welcome back for our latest Colour INKspiration challenge. We have this interesting combo for you!
The colours go together so perfectly in the picture but I have to tell you .... I struggled. They didn't initially SCREAM Christmas to me but as soon as I got out some Very Vanilla cardstock it all seemed to come together from there.
I have used the
Labels Aglow Dies to create the fun see-through elements and the label and the sentiments are from the coordinating
Brightest Glow stamp set. The fun swinging snowflake is embossed in gold and is from the
Christmas Lights stamp set. It's die cut with the
Twinkling Lights dies. And to finish it off I have blooms die cut from the
Merriest Frames dies and leaves from the
Country Wreaths dies. And did you notice my coloured
Pearls? I have used Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours to colour them. I love how you can easily colour them to coordinate with your projects.
Don't you just love this card fold? It is called a
Flying Easel Card and was designed by my fab friend Bronwyn Eastly as part of a tutorial bundle by The Dimensionals. You can find her tutorial
here. I haven't added as much detail as Bronwyn did on her lovely card - this version just didn't need it. You can see more cards from The Dimensionals on my page
here. As of October 1st the tutorials will be sold separately by each author. Until then though you can snap them up as a bundle still. It has been a pleasure working with Bronwyn, Sharni and Nicole but life has taken us all in different directions so we decided to call it a day on The Dimensionals. The wonderful thing for you though is that our tutorials will remain available. I still have so many on my list to try!
INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use neutrals such as Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Basic Black as well as Metallics.
Not a member of the Colour INKspiration Facebook group yet? Just click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. We can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous colours.
