Bron's 60th Birthday Blog Hop #6 - Sunkissed

Thanks for joining me! Tonight I am hopping with lots of my stamping friends to celebrate my lovely friend and Bow-Ho Stampers team mate Bronwyn Eastley's 60th birthday. We have had 6 hops in the 6 months leading up to the special day, which just happens to be today. So here's to you Bron. Happy Birthday. I hope that you have had a wonderful day. Bron is currently celebrating with a tropical holiday so the theme for our hop is, of course, Tropical Holiday!

I had to use the Sunkissed stamp set to create my tropical holiday scene. This isn't Bron's birthday card. I would love to say that I can't show you as it would ruin the surprise for her .... but it is still in development!

I used blending brushes for the sky, sea and sand and added some Stampin' Blends on the palm tree fronds to make them pop.

Don't you just love that sentiment! The fun embossed label is from the Beautiful Shapes dies and I added some unraveled Silver Threaded Twine behind it for a little sparkle.

The cute caravan die is from the Tree Lot dies which was part of the Sale-a-bration promotion over the last few months. If you managed to earn the set for free you can use them to add to stamp sets and build fun scenes such as  this Christmas version.

To add some Christmas flair to the palm trees I used the Real Red Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics. I love that you can get a lovely raised effect which dries quickly and is not sticky.

It has been so much fun hopping with my friends over the last 6 months in the lead up to Bron's special day today. Cheers to you Bron. Happy Birthday!

Make sure you continue the hop to see all of the other fabulous cards in our last blog hop celebrating Bron's 60th birthday. Next up is my lovely friend Chantell Randall

  1. What a wonderful pair of cards! The inked backgrounds look amazing, and the caravans were a great choice. They certainly make me think of holidays as a kid!
