Colour INKspiration Challenge #127 - Cup of Tea

 

It's time for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This week crew member Bronwyn Eastley has chosen the pic with has inspired our colour palette. 

Yesterday I posted a fun gift card set using a quick and easy masking paper technique. You can check it out here if you missed it. While I was on a roll I decided to use the challenge colours to create a wallpaper effect. I stamped the leaves first then covered with masking paper die cut with the die usually used to die cut that image. I also added a tea cup die cut from masking paper, then the strips before adding Orchid Oasis ink with a blending brush. I thought it turned out to be a sweet card. 

I have used the Cup of Tea bundle and Stitched Rectangle Dies on the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes. 

The tiny flowers are from a cute die in the Hippos Dies which you can earn for free during August as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion. The Hippo Dies has so many great little dies in it and I know it will be a set that I continue to use often.
