Bron's Birthday Blog Hop and Colour INKspiration Challenge #126 - Fancy Folds

Happy Wednesday! This post is doing double duty. I decided to multitask and use our latest Colour INKspiration challenge colours in combination with the theme of Bronwyn's Birthday Blog Hop #5. 

Some of my stamping friends and I have been participating in monthly blog hops to celebrate the upcoming 60th birthday of my good friend and Bow-Ho Stampers team mate Bronwyn Eastley. This theme is a very fitting one .... Fancy Folds. If you know Bron, then you know that she loves designing and making very fancy 3D card folds. And what better way to celebrate her than with using one of her card folds! Here is my version of her Multi-Block Platform Easel Card. You can find her original card fold here and there is more information at the end of this post. 

Bron's card is square but I shortened the width so that I could fit it into a standard C6 envelope. Bron's also has 4 blocks and mine has 3 ..... that was purely operator error! I found the 4th one on the floor days later! Oopsie! Still works though. 

I have used the Wisteria Wishes bundle and the Colour INKspiration challenge colours to create some flowers in pots and on vines. I have used the Charming Sentiments bundle for the greeting on the front. It is such a neat fold and has room under the easel part (the wall) to pop your birthday message. 

The card folds flat to fit into a standard C6 envelope.
