Welcome to a very special blog hop. We're a group of stamping friends that are celebrating my very fabulous friend Bron's 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes! This month's theme is Inky Blues.
I have been having fun creating Curved Pop-Out Cards lately. They are easy to make and look really fab when standing. You can find others I have made here. This was the theme of a class I held earlier this week. I will share the rest over the next few weeks. For this card I started with a some paper from the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper (now 30% off) as my background. Such gorgeous patterned paper! Well worth grabbing before stocks run out!
My sentiments are from the Charming Sentiments stamp set. There are so many great sentiments in the set and to make them even better you can die cut them using the Sentiments Silhouettes dies. Gives such a professional finish don't you think? The Sentiments Silhouettes dies also has lots of cut dies such as the layered candle, hearts and stars. Really makes it quick and easy to add some WOW to your cards.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Cathy.
DeleteThis is a great card, Lou! Nice fold, I might give it a try. And this is a set that I had overlooked in the catalogue - you've sent me off for a second look at it!
ReplyDeleteIt is a really fab bundle Jan. So much in it and really does a good job of die cutting around the sentiments.
DeleteA really fun fold Lou - hmmm might have to give it a go! I'm off to add the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set / bundle to my wish list too. Great fun card.
ReplyDeleteYou won't be sorry Chantell. It is a fab bundle with so much scope.
DeleteStunning card - now I really want to look at that stamp set and dies again!! And I need to find out how to do these bendy cards - it looks just wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lou,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any instructions for the curved card? It’s is so pretty.
Thanks for checking out my blog. This card (and the others in the link provided in the post above) are smaller versions based on a tutorial I did. Here is the link if you wanted to check it out. It is the first one in the list - Pretty Birds Large Curved Pop-out Card. These smaller versions are made in the same way but the card base is the same size as a standard card when folded (1/4 of your regular cardstock sheet). Hope that helps. https://withabowontopbylou.blogspot.com/p/class-and-project-kits-by-mail.html
