Colour INKspiration Challenge #120 - Layering Hugs

Hi! Hope you are travelling along okay. It's time for our next Colour INKspiration challenge. We have another beautiful colour palette to help kickstart your creativity. Crew member Jan Clothier chose this pic and we welcome Sharon Dalton as our Guest Designer.

We thought we would sneak a couple of retiring colours in one last time - Just Jade and Misty Moonlight. I also thought that I would use a retiring stamp and die bundle - the Sending Hugs stamp set and the Layering Hugs dies - both of which are reduced so get them while you can. This time last year I was eagerly awaiting to be able to order them from the new catalogue. Now I have a whole new list of fab products to order next week, on May 3rd, when the new annual catalogue goes live! 

Actually I had forgotten about this bundle. I had lots of fun colouring the image in with my Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours. I used my Light and Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends to create an ombre effect for the 'HUGS'. A few Brushed Brass Butterflies and some twine and my simple design was done. Nothing fancy but I like it all the same!

Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use neutrals such as Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Basic Black as well as Metallics.
