Stamp Review Crew - Amazing Silhouettes

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hopThe Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. You can find the complete list of all the crew hopping today here. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set. You can get the stamp set in a bundle with the Amazing Thanks dies (which I just realised I don't have!).

I have to admit that time is not my friend of late and I am cutting it a bit fine for this hop. I actually would have pulled out but I didn't want to inconvenience the crew. So many great ideas swirling around in my head for this stamp set, so little time!

So over a coffee and a ponder I decided that simple is best. And as luck would have it, the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set has this lovely detail around the white image so it really does all of the hard work for you!

I had some of the small cards left over in a pack of Basic White Assorted Memories & More Cards and Envelopes. They are the perfect size for a quick note to someone. This butterfly is stamped using Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo inks.

For this foliage card I have used Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point inks.

I used my Stamparatus and Blending Brushes to help ink by stamps. I added the lightest colour first to one part of the stamp and then stamped. I added each colour in turn, overlapping a touch. So quick and easy!

The sentiment is from the Cactus Cuties stamp set. I like it because it works for so many occasions. I die cut it using a label from the Beautiful Trees dies. Some twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials pack and a Brushed Brass Butterfly or 2 finished off my super quick and simple cards.

So there you have it for today. Sometimes the most simple of designs can be the most lovely! Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is Mike Funke.
