Stamp Review Crew - Whimsical Trees

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hopThe Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. You can find the complete list of all the crew hopping today here. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Whimsical Trees stamp set. It coordinates with the Christmas Trees dies

I really love this bundle. Quite often stamps are the star of my blog posts but today I wanted to show how well stamp sets and in particular the Whimsical Trees stamp set can play a supporting, but equally important, role. Stampin' Up! puts a lot of time into developing suites of coordinating products and it really makes putting projects together. For today's cards I started with the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper pack.

It is such gorgeous paper and the Whimsical Trees stamp set has some of the same images in it  and the Christmas Trees dies die cut some of the images. For each card I chose stamps or dies to coordinate from the sets.

Some simple heat embossed holly and a sentiment finished off this card.

The Whimsical Trees stamp set has some really great sentiments. I love how they enhance the DSP rather than distract from it.

Now that I am writing this post I have realised that I forgot to photograph the inside of this card. It has stamped images inside but I guess you'll just have to trust me! I have also stamped images that coordinate on the envelope, oops, also forgot to photograph before I sent them.

Okay .... found one inside pic for you! I have kept it really simple to allow room for a message. Once I wrote my message inside it didn't look as stark. My envelopes were decorated in the same way.

So make sure you keep an eye out for the products suites and keep in mind how you can use them in ways you may not have thought of.

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is Mike Funke. I can't wait to see what he has to show us.
