Stamp Review Crew - Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick

 

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. For this hop we are featuring 2 stamp sets. They go together .... like birds of a feather! The first is the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. It coordinates with the Birthday Chick Dies and is in the Stampin' Up! 2021-22 Annual Catalogue.

The second stamp set is Hey Chick and it coordinates with the Chick dies. This is a special re-release stamp and die bundle. The stamp set was first released in 2017 as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion and was so popular that Stampin' Up! bought it back for a short time. The new dies that go with it are really fabulous. This bundle is only available until the June 30 so make sure you grab it while you can.

If you are a regular follower you will know that I have been unwell for some time. Because of that I just craft as and when I can and sometimes (like today) write my posts ahead of time when I have a spare second and bit of energy. So in case I don't get to make a new project, I wanted to show you 2 cards that I made using these products already. They are part of a tutorial bundle that I produced with my team mate and fellow Stamp Review Crew member, Bronwyn Eastley. These cards are quite detailed and really show how you can use all of the images and dies to create scenes. I loved these 2 cards (and the 2 that Bron made) so much and am not sure I can top them! My first card was a Quad Easel Card. Such a fun way to show off these products and a fabulous card for someone special.

The second card that I made is a Pop-out Chicken Coop Card. How cute is that!

So they were 2 fancy cards but the beauty of the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick stamp sets is that you can create simple cards too! Sometimes you need a card in a hurry. I have used the small card and envelope from the Assorted Memories and More Cards and Envelopes. They are already cut and scored so you are half way there! Then stamp, colour simply and then write your message. Job done! 

Some days intricate cards are the name of the game and some days quick and easy ones are called for. Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick have you covered for any sort of day!
