Stamp Review Crew - Sale-a-bration 2

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. You can find the complete list of all the crew hopping today here. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring all of the gorgeous FREE products in the Sale-a-bration catalogue. You still have 1 week to be able to earn these products ... so don't delay. Today I am featuring the gorgeous Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set

These products are really versatile. It is really handy to have a birthday stamp set that is a bit different. If you don't have this one you really should spend $90 AUD so you can earn it for FREE! For my first card I have fussy cut some flowers from a sheet in the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and did a bit of floral arranging!

I used the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder to emboss my card front. I love the detail and texture! The Happy Birthday stamp is such a good size and completed my simple design.

I was determined not to keep this paper for 'good'. I have way too much already! I also needed a stack of cards so decided to make use of the this gorgeous paper.

To make it simple I came up with a simple design that let the DSP be the star of the show. I cut 2 strips of each paper design so that I could use both sides. Each piece was 3" x 6". Then it was a simple matter of pairing the designs. You can trim the bottom piece to save wastage if you like.

I have added a strip of cardstock under the top piece of DSP, popped on some twine and a birthday sentiment from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set

For my last 2 I have added in sentiments from the Many Messages bundle as I had them sitting on my desk, just waiting to me used!

It is so great that you get such different looking cards simply by combining different papers from the pack. You definitely can do different designs with this paper but when it is so lovely and already quite 'busy' I like to keep the design simple. I had lots of fussy cut flowers left over so I added them to some of my cards as well. They are up on dimensionals.

There are so many fabulous items on offer in the Sale-a-bration catalogue so don't miss out!

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with gorgeous Sale-a-bration products. Next up is Mike Funke. I can't wait to see his creation. Something tells me it is going to be 'berry' good!
