Happy Friday. Hope you have had a great week! For our challenge at Just Add Ink this week Patrice has come up with a fun sketch for you.
Sketches are such a fabulous way to kick off your creativity and this one is no different. Just adding these 2 panels on an angle just adds a bit of something different! I have used the fabulous new Snailed It Bundle. It is such fun. I adore the images in the stamp set and the dies have that fabulous envelope and letter. Now I just need time to play around some more with it!
The Snail dies also die cut lots of images from the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper pack. I was really pushed for time to get this card made in time so being able to die cut images that were already coloured was such a time saver! Now check our my white die cut rectangles - they are longer than the die. I used a technique called partial die cutting to extend the length. This is such a great way to get more out of your dies. You can google it (sorry a bit short on time today to do pics for you!) but basically you don't cover the last 1/4 of your die with the top plate when you run it through the machine. Then move the die to elongate your shape and don't cover the end already cut with your plate. Google it .... it will make more sense if you haven't done this before.
