Happy 2021! Well the first week for me started quite well! How about you? Then the second week of 2021 started with Brisbane going into a 3 day lockdown. I live on the Sunshine Coast which is not far away so we will just wait and see our this nasty new COVID-19 variant spreads. So there's that!
We have a really beautiful colour palette to kick off our first Colour INKspiration challenge of the year. The photo was taken by crew member Cheryll Miller. Isn't it beautiful!
This bundle has lots of little images and dies and I absolutely love that you can hide surprises in the kangaroos pouch! After all .... that's what pouches are for right!
The kangaroo die has a slit in it and there is a piece that you can use to attach the images (like the flower bouquet here) so that you can easily slide your hidden message in and out.
To use the colours and give my background a bit more interest than dull old white, I have used the
Stitched Be Mine dies. I love this spray of hearts. The die cuts the outlines and hearts so it easy to interchange the hearts for a fun multi-coloured look.
The die used to create scallop stitched Merry Merlot edge is also from the
Stitched Be Mine dies set. This set is in the Annual Catalogue and I have only just bought it. I should have bought it ages ago! I am not really a heart person (if there is such a thing) but I do love this die set.
