Social Stamping December 2020 - OH 2020!

Oh 2020! What a fabulous theme for our last Social Stamping blog hop, hosted by the fabulous Kelly Kent. We are saying goodbye (and some will say good riddance) to 2020. What a year it has been! Certainly a year we could not have predicted. I think, for me at least, it time to draw a line under it and just move onto 2021 with high hopes that it is a much, much better year.

Throughout 2020 I have had to spend a lot time at home due to COVID and health concerns. It has been lonely, challenging but has also made me truly appreciate my friends even more. To all of my lovely friends who took the time to check in to see how I was going THANK YOU.  Whether it was via text, message, phone, card or courier pigeon, I can't thank you enough. So with that in mind I am finishing the year by getting a jump start on some cards. Hopefully I can stay as organised all year!

So what better way to go into a new year than playing with new products. Here are the 2 cards that I made.

I have used 2 FREE Sale-a-bration products - Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and the Approaching Perfection stamp set. The January-June 2021 catalogue starts on January 5th. There are so many pretties in it and ... with every $90 AUD that you spend you get to choose free products from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. How good is that!

Did you notice the cute watercolour-look flowers? I got the idea from page 3 of the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

There is a piece of paper in the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper pack with large watercoloured circles. I have used dies from the Wreath Builder dies to make the flowers and leaves. I love the watercolour look. Add in some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and job done!

There are lots of lovely papers in the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper pack so of course I had to make a second card using a different piece. And the Approaching Perfection stamp set has some really fun and different sentiments. I cut this one into 3 sections.

To complete my designs I added in some bows using the Snail Mail Twine Combo pack and embossed my Whisper White cardstock using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder - both from the January-June 2021 catalogue.

Make sure that you hop around to each blog. If you get lost just head back to the master list here. Next up you are off to visit Julia Quinn.
