Colour INKspiration Challenge #90 - Floral Gallery Holly Jolly Everything

In the mood for a colour challenge? Our latest Colour INKspiration challenge colours are so pretty. I may be a touch biased as I chose them! Apart from wanting that tree .... I just loved the colours.

I thought that these colours would be fun for any card but today I have used them for some festive present packaging.

There wasn't much to my idea. I had all of the cardstock on my desk and decided to start with a base of strips as they all looked so pretty together. Then I used this fab die from a new set called Floral Gallery dies. It is from Stampin' Up!'s January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. A perk of being a demonstrator is that you get your hands on products early. Ask me about joining my team (The newly named Bow-Ho Stampers) or click the tab at the top of this post.

My first version had Christmas sentiments stamped all over my Mini Paper Pumpkin box but it looked too busy against my sentiment panel ... so that was tossed aside for a later project! In my searching for a sentiment to complete 'Just want to say' I came across 'Holly Jolly Everything' and thought it was perfect.

So some fussy cut foliage from the Peace & Joy stamp set in the challenge colours completed the look. Sometimes less is more! I can't show you what is inside the box ... because .... cough, cough .... I haven't made it yet! I have an idea for a fun present for a friend. I plan to make a few so will share it with you once I get a chance to whip it up! The words that I have die cut are set aside for another project. I love 2-for-1 crafting!
