Welcome to Days 21 and 22 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge. Martin Stone has organised another month long card making challenge and this one is all about Christmas. If you'd like to see the whole month's challenge themes, check out his blog post here. I am trying to do the whole 30 days but we will see how I go. If you'd like to see cards made for the challenge check out this hashtag - #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge
It seemed fitting (and good time management) for these 2 challenges that I used the same stamp set and card design and just switch up the style. So we have .....
For both of these cards I have used the Ornamental Envelopes bundle. I love it when products can be used for different styles. By simply adding gold embossing ......
.... or black outlines .... you can achieve a very different look. It all depends what you are after.
I stamped the baubles twice - once on the card front and once on scrap. I die cut the ones on the scrap card and then raised with dimensionals. This works well with this type of card. I have cut about 1" or 2.5 cm off the front right hand edge so that the baubles can stick out a bit for a bit of extra interest.
So there you have it - same, same but different!
