30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge Day 16 - Sketch

Welcome to Day 16 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge. Martin Stone has organised another month long card making challenge and this one is all about Christmas. If you'd like to see the whole month's challenge themes, check out his blog post here. I am trying to do the whole 30 days but we will see how I go. If you'd like to see cards made for the challenge check out this hashtag - #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge

It's a fab sketch for today's challenge.

Sketches are a great start to your card designing if you are a bit stuck, need inspiration or (like me today) are a bit short on time. Some of the thinking is already done for you! Another time saver is to emboss your card front. You save time on cutting mats etc and get an elegant card in no time. I have used the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder here. I have added a piece of paper from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

The Stitched Stars dies have been carried over from last year which is fabulous. Don't they add a nice detail? My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and fitted snugly into my star. Some Gold Metallic Pearls added the finishing touches. Oh and some ruched Mint Macaron Ribbon from the Basket Weave and Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack for a bit of extra texture.

Bye for now!
