Creating Kindness Design Team August 2020 blog hop - Friendship

Hi and welcome to the August Creating Kindness Design Team blog hop. This month we welcome the fabulous Linda van Wely as our Guest Desinger. Check out her amazing creations here. Our theme for August is Friendship. What a fabulous reason to send a card! Well it is ..... but I don't often send a lot of friend cards. Well I guess I do but not with 'Hey Friend' etc emblazoned on them. Not sure why. Obviously not how I roll! But when I saw the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set I got a great idea for a way to use the 'You're a friend like gnome other' sentiment. 

So I came up with this Z fold card. I have split the sentiment into 2, so that when you open up the card ....

..... this gorgeous Christmas Tree wearing girl is revealed. How cute is that! 

I have coloured the gorgeous gnomes in with Just Jade, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends. They are too cute! 

The Poppy Parade ribbon is out of the All the Trimmings ribbon combo pack. It is actually edged in gold but I thought it looked lush with the Brass Foil sheets that I have used to mat my Whisper White cardstock (which by they way have been embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3 D Embossing Folder). 

I am quite chuffed with how this turned out. Now to keep a check on my friends over the next few months to see who has been naughty and who has been nice!
