Just Add Ink #474 - Just Add a colour combo.

Happy Friday. As usual I am asking myself how did that roll around so quickly! At Just Add Ink this week we have a great colour combination for our challenge.

I have been having fun in my new craft studio and last week I was all about cling wrap backgrounds. You can find out how to do this in this post. It is just a really great way to get a vibrant, variegated background. However ....... things did not do well for me in the creating of this background! Let's just say it ended with a tiny (okay medium) tantrum that involved me thumping bits of scrunched cling wrap covered in reinker over my attempts. Turned out pretty well in the end!

This card design is inspired by my creative friend from New Zealand, Angela Meiritz-Reid. Check out her card here. I loved the layout and have used a similar one for this card. I love the layers.

The Bloom and Grow bundle is really fabulous. I have only just bought it and know it will get a work out! Don't you love that sentiment!

Silver embossing makes everything better!

Even though it was the result of a little tanty, I really love my background. The Rococo Rose and Blackberry Bliss inks just mix so beautifully. There is a bit of Champagne Shimmer Paint in there too.

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members used these gorgeous colours. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!

  1. That background is totally delish, Lou, and teamed with the layer of foil & embossed flowers looks so pretty & stylish. Fab way to use the challenge colours.D
